This is one of the first collaborative projects, in which working with a partner is like a double edged sword. While you may be able to bounce ideas off of each other and decrease individual workload, there is bound to be a conflict in interest. Even though Sam and I were initially lost on the chosen topic, we were able to complete the assignment with ease and efficiency. Throughout the work progress, I immersed myself in the history and adverts of the company, Tide. Although they may just be a cleaning product, their a company full of rich and engrossing stories. From their rise in popularity after World War II to their attempts to advert the public after multiple incidents of tide pod consumption appeared on the news.
